Space Nation is founded by Mazdak Nassir, an Iranian refugee and award-winning film director and Kalle
Vaha-Jaakkola, a farmer’s son from Finland, who dreamt of space as far as his earliest memories go.
Together with Stephan Reckie, an Armenian-Russian-American astropreneur, Caitlin Burns, a master of immersive experiences, Jill Reckie, a creative technologist with a mindset for human potential and Gregory “Box” Johnson, a former NASA astronaut and the last pilot of the Space Shuttle Endeavour, they form the leadership team of Space Nation.
